Classroom Design
At Stables Montessori Preschools, we own each of our purpose-built early childhood education sites. We have put many years of knowledge and experience into the thoughtful design of each space in our kindergartens and preschools, to ensure the best early childhood education environment for children of all ages.
NURSERY ROOM
A sun-drenched open plan space, where our Montessori daycare children have the freedom of choice between the prepared indoor environment and the natural outdoor environment. Every child is different, so we work closely with our families in order to provide an individualised programme to suit the specific developmental needs of every nursery child. The foundation aspects of the Montessori education philosophy, love, respect, trust and self-belief, are the focus of teaching and learning in Te Kākano.
TODDLER ROOM (2-3)
Our toddler rooms are especially designed for our 2 – 3 year-old pre-prechool children. This is a very busy age, where children are making huge strides in their early childhood learning and development. Therefore, it’s great to be able to offer this age group their own space, with passionate teachers, who are devoted to creating a prepared environment that meets and extends all individual children’s development and learning.
3-6 YEAR-OLD ROOM
In these rooms we offer an extensive Montessori preschool programme, providing children with opportunities and the freedom to explore educational activities within a prepared environment. These activities and experiences will set all children up for lifelong learning, and readiness for school.
Outdoor Environment
Outdoor play and learning are a huge part of your child’s development. Over many years of experience working in early childhood education, the owners of Stables Montessori Preschools have developed a clear view on outdoor environment design, providing a safe and engaging setting.
